Beginning June 2006, I have enjoyed ten years serving and learning as a volunteer with Home Works of America, an organization focused on helping elderly, low-income, homeowners be able to stay safely in their often crumbling homes. In converting the permanentfixes blog to this website, I noticed several posts that focused on Home Works and decided to collect them all on one page of the new Website.
